The President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) recently had a meeting with the Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in Abu Dhabi. This key meeting emphasized the strengthening connection between the two boards. They talked about different matters. Focus on future series and ways to boost cooperation between Bangladesh and England in the sport. Both leaders showed their dedication to working together for the good of the game. CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury and President Faruque led the team from the Bangladesh cricket board and they met with the Emirates Cricket Board in Abu Dhabi.
Geoff Allardice, the ICC Chief Executive, and additional officials from the Emirates Cricket Board were also present at the event.
They discussed in the meeting that they will hold the Bangladesh ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the UAE. The event was moved from Bangladesh to the UAE last month.
The women’s t20 tournament will start from October 3 and ends on October 20 and this tournament will be held in Dubai and Sharjah. All the event organization handled by the ECB while the BCB is the official host. Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan is the chairman of ECB and he said they are thrilled to host the T20 World Cup.
